Misiones, a rugged province in northeastern Argentina, is home to one of the largest waterfalls in the world. The famous Iguazu Falls extend for 2.7 km. along the border with Brazil, and include hundreds of different waterfalls, including the Devil's Throat 80 m high. Around the falls, there is the Iguazú National Park, a subtropical rain forest with a diverse fauna and hiking trails.It also has the famous Jesuit ruins dating from the time of the conquest of the Spaniards.

 

 Misiones, una accidentada provincia del noreste de Argentina, es hogar de una de las cascadas más grandes del mundo. Las famosas cataratas del Iguazú se extienden por 2.7 km. a lo largo del límite con Brasil, e incluyen cientos de cascadas diferentes, entre ellas la Garganta del Diablo de 80 m de alto. En torno a las cataratas, se encuentra el Parque Nacional Iguazú, un bosque pluvial subtropical con una fauna diversa y senderos de excursionismo.Tiene ademas las famosas ruinas Jesuitas que datan de la época de la conquista de los españoles.
